Close your transaction wherever it is most convenient for you. Whether you close in a Homeland Title Office, remotely with a mobile notary, or online through remote online notarization, we have the options to suit your unique transaction needs.
A traditional office closing is an in-person meeting where buyers or sellers and sometimes real estate agents or loan officers gather at one of our eight Homeland Title locations to review and sign all final documents. These closings traditionally take 30 to 45 minutes depending on the specifics of your transaction.
A mobile notary closing is a service where a licensed notary public travels to a location convenient for you, such as your home, your office or a coffee shop to facilitate the signing and notarization of real estate and loan documents. This service provides flexibility for buyers and sellers, eliminating the need to visit our office.
Remote Online Notarization is where you would appear before an eNotary via a two-way audio-video conference over the internet to eSign digital documents. You will need a computer, laptop, or tablet that has a webcam, microphone, and speakers. Use a strong internet connection as we want your digital closing experience to run as smoothly as possible. Remember to have your government issued photo ID available. We can’t wait to meet you – even virtually.
